Sage Dining Services provides food service for independent schools and private universities throughout
the United States and Canada. Responsibilities include managing the brand and overall quality of work produced by the creative team that includes graphic designers, videographer and digital asset manager.
I manage the creative process from concept to completion and translate marketing objectives into
visual solutions.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Training, assigning, scheduling, and coaching employees.

  • Work closely with multi-functional project teams.

  • Lead and direct the creative team in the development of concepts and production of marketing materials.

  • Determine appropriate visual solutions for projects based on client needs.

  • Ensure brand standards are implemented.

  • Meet with senior management to discuss campaign strategies and solutions.

Highlights:

  • Collaborated on the development of a new campaign called “All Foods Fit”, with Sage nutritionists, to educate students on nutrition.

  • Conducted research on several digital asset management systems, made recommendations on the best fit for Sage’s needs and coordinated the implementation process.

  • Designed a microsite for Sage’s clients that includes financial information, daily menu offerings, contact information of Sage staff, new developments, articles, and upcoming events.

  • Worked on the development, design, and organization of a Manager Toolbox site, which provides access to numerous resource tools that managers use on a daily basis.

  • Creative development and art direction of University Relations graphic designers in production of recruitment collateral, cross-unit collateral, and alumni magazine.

Highlights:

  • Through strategic marketing efforts the University’s leads doubled from 5,300 in FY15 to 11,000 in FY16.

  • Served on Investiture committee for President Kurt Schmoke. Responsibilities included developing key messaging, communications and collateral material.

  • Determined direction and managed the conversion of the University’s website to 100% responsive.

  • Implemented a social media student ambassador program. Social media engagement grew steadily; the number of followers on Facebook increased by just over 2,000 since May 2015 compared to previous followers of 1,000.
